Oh, the Italian dream…. The promised land of wine, romance, and carb heaven! For many of us who didn’t grow up around here, it was just that : a dream. Now it is a reality. Although reality isn’t exactly the picture-perfect Fellini flick, we have once envisioned it is nonetheless magical. Quanto è bella questa terra! We are now day-dreaming & dream-living our own fantasia Italiana. Sure, life has its flaws, but that is not what we choose to focus on today. Today we turn to the magnificent landscapes, the ancient architecture, the bewitching language, la cucina della Mamma, and the irresistible Italian charm. But most importantly, we celebrate this culture that has so generously welcomed us and given us a place to call home. Grazie mille! (or ti ringraziamo)
